How long is a piece of string. All down to previous owners upkeep really.

My old motor spun a rod bearing at 109k miles, used a litre of oil every 700-800 miles.

Ah but American miles are probably like American BHP.

10 US BHP = 1 to 2 UK BHP.

E.g. Hey dudze, I just fitted my goddam header and I'm getting an easy 20BHP extra... (A real 4-5 UK BHP)

For the price these machines cost these days, I think its a good gamble. I'm not saying £5-6k is peanuts, but its not like buying a 2009 and having thr engine die.

I bought mine on 96k. It was a facelift 2004 and around the same price as 2002 cars with 60-70k miles.

It had a full Honda history, brakes recently done, new timing chain and tensioner etc, with the last 2 services costing over 2k before I bought it.

I'm very happy TBH, I never thought I'd get a facelift for the price I paid, and the mileage aided it, but the work done just before was a bonus.

90K is not too high at all with Honda engines I am sure there is another 90K to go on it as long as its maintain on the service intervals.
