Bummer I had the side windows in my ITR broken one night. They didn't steal anything just smashed them, I guessed they knew how long it takes to get the rear quarter window and enjoyed me driving around with a black bin bag for a window for 2 weeks.

I'll post my comments to Dan.

Dan,

I have fitted them (the old pads were down to wearing the mounting backs on the inside fronts).

I ran through the bedding in procedure to the letter, it took two runs through to really bed them into the old disks.

My first "in anger" stop I headbutted the steering wheel. The wheels locked up and a good second later the ABS kicked in. I'd recon they are a massive improvement on the EBC's I'd been using before (but then there is a price difference to match).

This last week the new pads have been taking 3/4 hard stops (40mph-10mph) to get up to temp (but it is 5 degrees outside), but from then on they are fine for daily use.
I need to take the calipers off and copper slip them as I run shim-less and they are a touch squeeky.

Totally reccomended, They are awesome for fast road use, I seem to be outbraking most things on the road now when having a 'spirited' drive. Just need to get them on the track and see the wear rates of the pads/disks.

Also need to find a way of keeping my head off the wheel when braking..

Ben.
They are the '97' compound.

Put a spike on the centre boss of the steering wheel - that'll encourage you not to jerk forward

Did you look at the compound before you put them in? Was there much metal flake obvious in the compound? Any damage to the laquer on the wheels?

Window being repaired now ..

The pads did have a lot of metal flake in them. But not large chunks if I remember, looked more sparkily if you get my drift.

My alloys are fairly corroded and with all the road dirt it's hard to tell about them dusting up. My BBS wheels are pitted anyhow.

Claim? What claim? The excess probably covers more than that.

I think the glass damaged the hood though. I may have to look at my small print to see if that's covered.
