[issue resolved] Valet mode switch for turning off the alarm? UK AP1+ 2008
Drove home with the alarm on, things happened regarding the alarm which I won't detail here. Alarm deactivated with keyfob.
Mods please close this as appropriate.

Could anyone please PM me a picture of where the valet mode button is to deactivate the alarm? (UK 2008 AP1 facelift, i believe stock alarm -there is a red blinking light on the steering column, keyfob looks like the image below)
1 Month old battery, blinkers go off with the alarm siren. Doesn't turn off after turning on engine/ leaving engine running.
I'm stuck at work with my alarm going off every time I open the door with the key. Strangely this didn't happen on the way to work with the same key. Keyfob is at home... would like to avoid driving home with the alarm on as i'm already going deaf.
Any help appreciated

There is no valet switch, Honda supplied two "proper" keys a programing key and a separate valet key. This doesn't necicerilly apply to all years. That looks like my fob ('06 facelift) so it's probably a Honda fitted alarm although on mine the red light is on the dash. Questions why are you using the key to open the door most don't, and when you do are you disarming the alarm with the fob first because you need to.

This explains everything ... I grabbed my spare key but didn't grab the fob in the morning (not working). Thanks for explaining!
