To be fair, if people who don't know the car ask me what colour it is (without them having seen it, of course!) I tell them it's "like a metalic charcoal grey" and they seem to know what I mean.

It's probably the same colour as rocks that you might find, should you happen to be on the moon!

Having had three Silverstones and a Moonrock
I'd say Moonrock, but the Silverstone is a "classic" colour hence ~40% of them are Silverstone

Prior to 04 (Mk1&2) the red interior had two formats - red leather & black plastics or ALL red (pimp model )

After 04 (Mk3&4) The two option remained until 06 when the two tone was the only option. They also made the seats two tone.

Here's a few pics of my "collection" for you
Always ready for a picture

00 Silverstone with red/black

03 Silverstone with two tone red/black

06 Silverstone with two tone red/black and different seats

05 Moonrock with two tone red/black (my current car )

For the second time today with Mikey.....

But then, what else would you expect from a fellow Moonrocker?

but I only found out about Muz and his magic carpets after I got the car.

Black carpets and 50/50 seats would be my ideal option - oh yes and Moonrock.

At the end of the footage you can see it from the outside, it's definitely Moonrock
Shame that video is of the final prototype in 1999 and even has the earlier interior. It's a Silverstone not Moonrock

As for the colour choice, I'd avoid both. Get something more interesting. The greys don't do the car justice.
