It wasn't a proper Drivel test - they didn't have some punter sat in the passenger seat with a big tray of jelly.
Maybe that's why the TVR won instead of the Porsche - I mean, what sort of a group test is it when the Porsche doesn't win, they always win.
They just didn't fiddle the desirability test enough like they usually do.

Jammy git. I'd like my surname on my plate, but it would mean changing my name by d-pol.

Mr Brian Dusixdx?

Cheaper than a personal plate...

(True story - guy my Nasty and myself used work with was called Beau Chesluk. He had to change his name after his mum devorced - Chesluk is his mum's maiden name. So he decided to add a middle name. His passport, university deploma etc are in the name of: Beau Ner Chesluk. ROFL. He was certainly an individual )

Bit of an anagram challenge there Brian! Nearly as bad as Mr Mxyztplk! Remember him? Mingster has agreed to donate a Mugen header and CAI to the person posting the first correct answer!

I for one am not a fan of Ferrari and found it a breath of fresh air when it didn't do well in the test.
For my bucks, I would have put the Porsche first, TVR second and the Fiat........oops......Ferrari..........last
I am not knocking Ferrari for the sake of it, they have made some truly gorgeous machines but they simply do not ignite the fire within me
Just my opinion

I believe the Porsche should have won too. On the Ferrari issue, it'd be a pretty dull world if everyone loved the same things!

My heart was for the TVR but I have only ever seen the porsche lose once before in a group test. I phoned through for the porsche and look what happens.

Often.

Anyone see the Driven episode a few weeks ago with the group test including the Tamora? They had the so called practical test with water spray and wind machine. They were roadsters!, you want practical then you need to get an escort!

Trying to balance points out on handling against practicality is pointless. You look at the vehicle, if its a van then its practical, if its an elise then its alot of fun.

So the TVR has an enormous boot for its class....and?.... I would not be taking the thing to tesco's!

Often.
