Default MOT advisory comment

I've just had the MOT done as it was with Tom (TGM) for the week. Advisory said:

'Under-trays fitted obscuring some underside components.'

I've never had this comment before. What underside components?

Don't worry
Its a comment to cover their arse if something behind those trays should have failed its MOT (like a correoded brake pipe)
They are not allowed to lay spanners on at an MOT

yep Like Mikey says the brake pipes run under the plastic cover and have being known to burst even just after an MOT

the pic below is the pipes with the cover removed luckily these bust on the brake tester (02 S2000)

Two under the engine, one in each front wheel arch, plus the 'guide' for cables and hoses that goes the length of the car?

Yeah I have had this on my Saab 9-3, annoying as I like to keep a clean sheet - my old car used to get an advisory for a loud exhaust which always made me smile!
