Anyone whos in the habit of keeping their foot on the brake pedle instead of using the handbrake whilst ststionary will be in danger of lessening the life of the switch.

Had a nunpty renault driver rant at me for nearly tail ending him after I had got out to tell him (politely)that his brake lights wern't working, what a muppet!

BTW, did a count yesterday during the fog, 10% of those on the road around me were driving with no lights on and of those who did aroung 10% only had one light working, mayby thats a downside of HID systems, it leads to an attitude of "£100 for a bulb, I won't bother fixing it then."

I actually tend to find its more with people using poor man's bulbs rather than HID around these parts.

I found yesterday that some people had their fog lights on, front and back even though visibility was far greater than 100yds.

Its just blinding, especially those front fogs.

One of my bug bears! A hint of mist and people think they need to illuminate their cars like a football stadium. Morons.

Yep, had that Wednesday night whilst on the bike, had to ride with the visor up as the fog lights were too intense and mixing with the MIST (!!) caused all sorts of visual glaring (and no drugs involved!) with light reflecting off the wet visor..

I thanked the guy for pointing it out to me, don't see why people get upset when others try to help them...

unless of course that's the fiftieth person to tell them .... by which point they really should have fixed the problem!

Well, I got my new brake switch, direct from Honda, and fitted it no problem, brake lights working 100% now

BUT due to a cockup in communication at suppliers I now have ANOTHER genuine Honda brake light switch part number 35350-S84-013 which is obviously surplus to requirements.
Lings charge £35 quid for these, delivered and about 28 quid at a local dealer, I have posted on the for sale section, just pm me....
