Default Mouldy Screenwash

The bottom of my screenwash bottle has gone mouldy and as a result it smells of sh.t every time i spray the screen . Whats the best way of sorting this (without having to remove the o/s wing and take the bottle off) ? I was thinking of getting a hose pipe and flushing the bottle out but will all the water running into my engine bay do any damage? its very close to the brake servo. Another idea I had was to actually pump the water out but alas I have no pump and Im not gonna syphon it out as I may puke. cheers.

Use more concentrate in future!

Disconnest the washer jets & pump all the shit out with the motor.

I'd fill it with quite hot water & pump that through.

That should bugger the bacteria.

Replenish with water & concentrate.

jet wash the inside of the water bottle, that'll shift it, then maybe get a wet hoover to suck the nasty stuff back out again?

I think you'll need something like this:

as i'm convinced simple rinsing will get you nowhere. Make sure it goes through the whole circuit, let it stay overnight, rince afterwards.

Btw no need to suck

Be very careful with hot water..plastics you see

good suggestions. I would have thought that disconnecting the jets and pumping out the water would burn the pump out?
