Comparing your figures Lee to mine, I would say your AEM V2 is giving maybe 8-12whp throughout.
Are you serious ?

I would have guessed a few hp at best.

Remember my car has 85k on the clock and in that respect it is fully run in. Your's being practically new may still be a little tight.

That really is quite some endorsement for the V2, although it's making me do a double take, almost like one of the stories you see on the Yank part of the site.

Agreed Gaspode's car will still be tight.

I thought Man's best had a few mods on his?

I've never heard anything but good things about the AEM intake though.

This is indeed interesting reading chaps.

Which AEM is it that I need to be looking for then, and after buying the unit, do I need other things to make it work properly (I know for Hondata's you need all sorts of sensors) ... only thing I seem to read is you loose the temp guage unless you get the modrify fix

It is indeed but one that on the whole i have enjoyed. Just thinking this afternoon about what ive tried on my S and came up with this

5 manifolds
5 exhausts
4 ECU's
4 intakes
3 turbos
2 engines
1 headache

Would i do it again? I think i would but she would probably kill me
