Bear in mind that your mpg will suffer quite badly with a CAI and louder exhaust as I have found recently.

Not through any manufacturing or design reason, simply because of the fact you'll be booting it more often and grinning.

Pre exhaust = 32mpg.
Post exhaust = 26mpg.

I could get it back up to 32mpg on my commute but.....hey, it's not like fuel is expensive or anything.

If your buying an intake I'd go K&N no worries about hydrolock, sounds great and you can fit it yourself it's very easy.

Keep an eye on the classifieds and eBay for the right exhaust maybe...
Wouldn't you would have to completely submerge the filter to cause it to suck up water and hydrolock the engine? If that's the case...unless you're planning on traversing streams or frequently flooded areas I would think you'd be ok with a CAI.

Not intentionally trying to jack your thread, but I'm curious, how many cases of hydrolocked F20's have there been in the UK?

If you want an AEM V2 CAI I have one that I'm going to post in the FS section this weekend. PM me if you're interested.
