Hmm you guys have me worried now lol

Did a HPI check this morning, and all seems fine...

Taking a mate who has bought an S2000 previously so knows what to look out for.

Hmmm....

Even if the seller is shit, the car may be OK, that's the trouble with these cowboys, but even "S2000 specialists" can't get it right

Yeah you have a point mate, he just may not have a clue and need a quick sale on the car?

There has only been 2 owners from new, one in Japan, and himself who has had it since 2008..

He said he has loads of sports cars..

I think he is selling it through a friends car sales company also

Sounds dodgier - if he's owned it, he should know a shit load more about it than what he's put in the ad. If he needs a quick sale, perhaps try advertising it properly, with the correct info.

You should ask him to demonstrate the rear windows, headlamp washers, heated mirrors, and also show you the metallic white finish

But anyway the car is based in Sheffield area, any one ever seen it or know anything dodgy about it?

Well a 3 hour journey there, going to take a good long look around it with a mate who has bought an s2k before, so if anythings out of place i will be going home wish the cash still in my pocket!!!

Would rarther lose my small deposit than a big lot of cash!

It looks like its got the Type V steering wheel but if it is a Type V then it should have the factory aero bits fitted such as side strakes, front lip, rear low spoiler etc

Also as its an import i'm fairly sure it should have half leathers fitted not full like are in the car now.

Nice looking car though

PANTS ON FIRE!..... the 51 plate means it was registered in the UK late 2001, so where has it been for 7 years? I'm worried now. Honestly I'd walk, don't waste six hours of your life driving and looking at somtiing sold by someone obviously dodgy.
