Yeah my figures were bullshit.

I would have happily had mine dyno'd on a different machine afterwards but never got round to it.

I did get a before and after Unichip dyno which I witnessed.

You cant really say the pre Unichip figures are high without a reading as stock on the same dyno. All cars differ slightly. Plus I have never seen a UK dyno of a car with all that nice Toda stuff on there.

I was thinking of a unichip.

However i only have an AEM V2 cai, decat and possibly an aftermarket dual exhaust.

I would like the vtec lowered, and perhaps increase mpg??

However since i have 4.57 gears i guess dropping the vtec to 5300 wont have a benefit??

cheers

AJ

Unichip looks like it fills the torque curve out nicely, smooths out that post-VTEC dip, too!

Good result...how much invested, if you don't mind me asking?!?

Although the car may run a little leaner than it currently does if you use an Unichip (and so better mpg) You're not going to get better mpg on the motorway with a lowered vtec point and a shorter final drive - you'll end up vtecing in 6th gear at about 90 mph, which isn't good for mpg. Good fun though

They dont adjust the closed loop fuelling either. The MPG savings are when you are flooring it. But I noticed an extra 20 miles to a tank.
