OK, I've found one annoying issue...
The Fuel Gauge! I left the house to go to work this morning and it was on 7 bars, so I figured I should be able to get to work and back (total 40 miles). After 8 miles of 60mph motorway driving it dropped down to 2 and the fuel light came on. By the time I got to work (about 20 miles in total) it was on 1 bar
Are inaccurate fuel gauges a known issue on the S?

No, it re-calculates according to your driving style!
If you thrash it home, the petrol fairies remove the last two bars overnight.
When you do the first few gentle miles during warm-up, they fly alogside & put the petrol back in again. E presto, four bars!

Ignore the gauge until the light comes on, once the light comes on, fill up at nearest filling hole.
Depending on how you drive, you'll get anything between 150(track days) and 350 (calm a-road/mways) miles to the tank. If it's the general mix, you'll prob get mid/late 20s so fill up when you get to 200/250 miles or so. I reset the trip A every fill up, get in the habit of doing so.

Annoyingly I've just noticed some scratches at the bottom of the door which I'm 99% sure are cat made Luckily they're only surface scratches which can hopefully be rectified with some Tcut and shooting a moggy in the face with a spud gun

watch what you're doing with T-Cut mate, it's very abrasive. Might be better to try somethin a little less harsh to start with. Post some pics, there are a couple of detailing experts on here.
I'm not one of them though!
