Default My S2K is trapped

So last night after rugby training I got home to my drive in the VRS only to pull up and notice that my entire drive was covered in massive wooden boards. Aching and stiff from training I couldn't be bothered moving them but the neighbours builders decided that instead of walking on the drive they'd leave massive board down.

Nice and thoughtful but my worry is I'll get a puncture from a loose piece of wood if I get the S2K out the garage and drive over the 6 boards covering the drive. So in this beautiful weather we're having the S2K is sat in the garage feeling sorry for itself wonderring if it'll ever get used

In fairness I did give permission to the builders last weekend so I only have myself to blame (and in fairness I thought it was gonna be raining lots)

Has anyone else had similar where the've been unable to access the car? It's been only 5 days since I drove the S2K and I already miss it.

Highly unlikely to get a puncture from a splinter in a sheet of plywood or a piece of wood. Check there are no nails, get the S out and enjoy the heatwave this weekend.

I haven't driven mine in about 8 days, I'm just changing discs and pads all round, new braided hoses and my freshly refurbed wheels I'm picking up today

Doubt you'll get a puncture from a splinter! Just make sure no nails screws or metal are sticking up from the wood and then drive it out to enjoy a weekend of sunshine

I was having a tough enough time already avoiding drizzle, oil patches and all the other things that are, apparently, lethal if you own an S2000. Don't tell me wood is on the list as well?!?!?

WOOD is the worst just the sight can cause a 360degree spin!

On Friday I swept up all the loose shards of building materials and the boards were moved (luckily as two had nails) and got the car out sunday.

I think the worry goes back to a few years previous where I had just bought a set of Toyo R888's got home and parked on the drive only to have a nail sticking out of the NSF tyre. I was fuming.

I went to Jewsons in my MX-5 and picked up a free wood screw.

That made the handling very iffy and the security man never noticed.

On 17s its hard to notice low pressure. Until 100% throttle elicits a sideways jap style drift potentially ceased only upon collision

I pulled out of the station car park one night, tired, about 9pm and did the most exhibitionist slide i've ever done before i realised somert were amiss
