Hats of to you, you are investing a lot of money and I love it!!
I'm currently saving up to do the sub frames, rear arches (having to replace inner and outer!) and suspension.

Very similar to my build!

Love your work so far, really well done!

Didn’t see any provisions for temp/AFR monitoring however, you’ll really want to keep any eye on cooling for sure with the full race kit, especially if you’re going to keep the OEM rad and oil cooler.

Great build, have you recently won the lottery??? :O)

Like the others have said you need an oil cooler, its not unusual to cook the oil on a track like Snetterton with the car at NA power levels. I think i saw 125c after 4 or 5 laps. Stick a 19 row thermostatically controlled oil cooler kit in there to give you peace of mind.

Hi all,

thank you for your comments!!

I have a Koyorad in the garage that’s yet to be fitted and a oil cooler is on the list. Was going to monitor oil temps and decide if it was needed but if you guys have seen high temps on track, it sounds like a must!

certainly std i can do 3 laps of donny at full tilt

noise is also an issue

Default The cosmetics shopping spree

Whilst the car was in the bodyshop, I needed to turn my attention to the styling to match what’s happing under the bonnet... I’ve always loved carbon fibre and with the car in Berlina black that seemed like a perfect match! I ordered a carbon fibre vented bonnet from Seibon, along with a carbon fibre CR rear spoiler. I always had my eyes set on a ASM front bumper, but shipped from Japan was nearly 2.5k which I just couldn’t justify for a front bumper!! So I went with the Powerhouse Amuse front lip on the standard bumper and added a few mods to that as well, such as front brake ducting/vents, removed the number plate brackets & headlight washers and chopped out all the black plastic infront of the intercooler and added fine black mesh. It’s now my new favourite front end look!!

Default In for paint!

Once all the body work was completed, the extra styling mods dropped off it was time for Darkside Bodyshop to start painting!

I honestly couldn’t of asked for a better job, the guys were great and the car was everything I envisaged it to be and more!!

Makes such a nice change to see someone painting a car the right way - looks lovely!
