Need Advice on Interior Trim Panel
I'm upgrading the stereo head unit.
Currently the original JVC unit is fitted and I am changing to an Alpine unit with Modifry DCI adaptor etc. The new unit has a rear USB port and as such I plan to run it to a remote USB socket so the USB stick can be placed in the little net on the left side of the transmission tunnel.
So here is my question - I need to run the USB remote cable from behind the stereo to a position approximately by the passengers right knee (just by the OBD port), how do I remove the trim in order to feed the cable through, or is there enough flex to ease the trim panel out and feed the USB cable through without cracking or breaking the panel?
Any advice or insight gratefully received. Thanks!

Am sure there is a small trim<4 inch square> held with 1 screw on both sides, seem to remember removing for plx wideband install for a feed to fuse box to ecu.
Its next to service port,

There is a dash screw behind that little panel, IIRC.
You could loosen that & trap the cable between dash & carpet, if you prefer.
Or run it through under the carpet to the shot glass holder, where it might be safer.
