I have posted several time before about my LSD replacement October time last year.

The car was about 4 months out of warrenty but had only done 24000 miles.
The dealer spoke to Honda as it was well under the 90000 mileage and just out of warrenty and Honda agreed to supply the diff, I had to cover the

Just got back from the dealer. I've put a warranty claim in and I'll see how it goes, should hopefully hear back tomorrow.

If it's not successful it looks like there's an awful lot of diffs around for not a lot of money, looks like I'll almost be able pick the year and mileage

One of the chaps I spoke to today said he thought the LSDs on the later models weren't quite so tight, does anyone know if there's any truth in that?

Had my new diff fitted yesterday, get 10 mins up the road and exactly the same noise again

So it's not the diff. Not that worried about the replacement as it sounded as if it had seen better days anyway, but what's making the noise?

Apparently the wheel bearings are OK, and I'm pretty sure it's not the brakes as I've swapped the pads over and cleaned the discs up and the noise is constant whether braking or not.

It'll be going back to the dealers this week but any ideas in the meantime?

Is the replacement diff completely new Graham i.e. new LSD? My knackered LSD made a grinding noise but you'd be unlucky to also have a knackered LSD in the replacement diff (assuming it was not swopped in from your old diff).
