Good!
Spoon recommend the above set up as "optimum" with standard bodywork.
I can do a set a narrower set:
17 x 7.5 ET45 (215/45 Tyre)
17 x 8.5 ET53 (245/40 Tyre)
Obviously less rubber, but will not have as good caliper clearance. The ET53 front wheel will take the Spoon Caliper without a spacer.

I'm selling a set of Prodrive forged wheels. The offsets are about as close you can get to OEM spec.

What rubber fits on 8.5 9.5 rim size then chap
The only thing I find is with really wide tyre sizes
wet grip isnt the best I was going to fit Uniroyal rainsport
tyres or Sp Maxx
Being in Germany I like the fact I can do silly speeds on the
Motorway all day long but big fat tyres dont work my old Supra TT
was a nightmare in the wet 275 rears maxs out at 60mph in the wet

Rear 255/40
I thought you were looking for summer wheels
if you want narrower the second option I posted take 215 front and 245 rear.
