I so miss the puppy days! This pic was in Dec 97, and the little thing in my arms, then the same size as the cat at my feet, is now 70 lbs!
P.S. We waited to replace the carpet until the puppy days were over...

Yup, soft toys, a newspaper for little accidents and an alarm clock in a toy or blanket will work. Mechanical, not quartz, though.
BTW, the allergy often improves with exposure, so don't let that stop anyone. I suffer with most long-haired dogs/cats, til I get used to them.

Sondra, I think our Tabby Cat Pepper weighs 70lbs................not really but she's a fat one. Old to now our years 18 but she's doing fine.
