Just thought i would say Hello, as i am a new member of S2KI. I took delivery of a blue s2000 on Sept 1st 01. Only covered 1300 miles, but they have been very eventfull. Worse being the car being vandalised in Nottingham city Center last Friday night by three drunken ladies (NO I DIDN'T KNOW THEM ) They did quite a good job. Keyed every panel ecept bonnet&door, smashed both rear lights, pulled off the aerial, slashed rear screen.
I know S2000's attract the opposite sex but this is ridiculas.
Well it's Wednesday now and i have calmed down a bit so i thought i would ask you guy's if you know some good paint shops in the Midlands area. Plus i know its a long shot but has anybody got a pair of rear lights?
Claiming on the insurance is a non starter, only 1 yaers ncb plus

David:

Welcome My God you've got off to an awful start

With regard to Honda dealers generally those of us who use Brindley Honda in Wolverhampton Road, Cannock (Staffs) are more than happy with the service they provide. One of our guys Andy Pandy has just had some bodywork and painting done there and he's very pleased... several coats each one baked!!

Best of luck with the lights

We find you have to be very anal retentive about where you park this car. City centres at night are a nono!

Thanks for the reply Cedric, i will take the car down for a quote. Hope to meet most of you on your next run out which will probably be next summer. Can't wait for those crisp winter mornings when the sun shines bright and the hood is down!

Brindley Honda are excellent and I would highly recommend them.
Ask for Phil, he will sort you out.
Sorry to hear of your troubles, did the culprits get arrested ? I bloody well hope so

Sounds like a nightmare. Sorry to hear about that.

I must say that I think I am very lucky being in Tokyo. I can park just about anywhere and never worry about the car. They don't even come with an alarm here, let alone an immobiliser!

Looking forward to when I can bring my S2000 home to the UK (or at least the new one once I get the insurance sorted out!!!)

I've also just used Brindley Cannock's body shop. Seamless work.

Just watch out if you get the purple Micra courtesy car...

Good luck with the repairs!

David, what a bummer.... Sounds like you're gonna have to start mixing with a better class of female!

As to your repairs, Paul Mullins at J.T. Hughes of Shrewsbury has promised to give a good discount on spares to any S2ki forum member.

Ring him on 01743 440999 (ask for Paul specifically)

Pete

PS - welcome to the "club" they're a great bunch of people!
