The rules say that I have to own it AND use it here for 6 months (i.e. they require proof if insurance etc.) and then I can import tax free. I then have to own it in the UK for 1 year before I can sell it, otherwise I get hit with the tax then......

So, if you send me the cash, I will buy the NSX, (and awinskill's Skyline), run them for six months here, bring them back to the UK. Run them for a year there, and you can have what is left at the end!!!!!

Also each person is only allowed to import 1 car. Fortunately, with my wife here, we will be able to bring two back....

Uhm.... 6 months in Japan and I bring back a Skyline.....

Not sure I could write Java in Japanese

or afford the insurance when I get back
