ended up with the q300, it was delivered a few days ago and will be fitting it this saturday, hopefully its not as loud as some people say it is!

By the way unclefester your user name seems really familiar to me, were you part of another car forum? I used to have a fiesta zetec s, I swear someone has that same user name on zsoc.com!

If you will be running it with the cat in place it will be fine, with it removed it is very obnoxious. HFC may be a perfect balance.

This was mine from a few years ago replaced it with a OEM exhaust with 38mm bypass mod.

Since re-fitting my skunk after running the HKS Spec L, it shows how loud it is, but not long now until its modified to be a bit more quiet and drone eliminated!

How quickly do you want to hear this/make you decision? The reason I ask is that 40 or so of us, with cars, will be at MM14 in Somerset in April. I know there will be at least 3 there with Invidia Q300 exhausts fitted. 2 from NI, one running a 70 mm HFC (mine) and the other with a decat. People will give you their opinion on what you should fit.......and all the associated bias. Personally before I went for the Q300 I drove an S with one fitted, and other alternatives, so as to be aware of how they all exactly sounded. I hate drone!!! I found it suitably louder with a HFC fitted and too raspy with a decat. As I say that is my opinion and what I'm happy with. Get along to the MM14 and make your own decision based on real life hearing!!
