Hi all

Just joined the forum. I'm on the lookout for my first S2K having sold my 350z, but it seems that there are very few for sale around where I live (Newcastle). I've set myself a budget of around 5.5k and hope to find a decent pre-03 for that price (preferably with a red leather interior). I've seen a nice looking one down in Canterbury, but it's just to far to go, especially if it turns out to be junk.
Anyway, I'm hoping to spend more time around here in the future. Until then, the search continues

Thanks for the info. Hoping my search doesn't take to long. The weather seems to be getting better I was planning to go and see one this weekend, however its just ticked over to 110k, which is a little bit over the top. Should high mileage like that be a concern?

Let's put it this way.
Would you rather;

Own a 110,000 mile S2000 owned by an enthusiast that has looked after it

Own a 75,000 mile S2000 owned by a moron who has no idea what he's doing

Everyone goes on about mileage but if it's high mileage and has been looked after it shouldn't be a problem at all.
I'm sure there are people on this forum that are running 130k+ without any problems
