New owner, first post
Hi all,
Recently registered after buying my 03 S2000 about two months ago. We had a European trip booked and didn't have a suitable car to take so after racking my brains a bit the missus and I bought an S2000 as we knew it would be reliable. We intended selling it when we returned but its proving difficult and I'm growing quite fond of it following such a brilliant trip.
Trip involved France, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Germany, Holland and finally Belgium. Loads of mountain passes and quite a lot of autobahn along with a trip to the Nurburgring.
Car is totally standard and I've racked up 3500 miles in the two months we have had it pushing it onto 109k with no issues whatsoever. We also have an old EP3 for daily duties which is now showing 140k so I know these things last well.
My dilemma is between this and my MR2. No brainer for some i'd imagine but this is a bit different running a 280bhp 2.0 turbo from an older MR2 and I've put so much time into it.
Finally I bought a car I've always wanted last year but I'm constantly paranoid it will find something major to open my wallet for. Bit of a bucket list thing so think it might be sold next year as I'm not really in a position to cover a major engine fault (which they are quite renowned for).
As you can see I like my modded cars, finding it very hard to resist modding the S2000 if I'm honest.
Lastly, any owners/meets around the Manchester area?
