I'd be inclined to send him one for free if you have one laying around - a little way of saying thanks for offering a GREAT price on roofs.

I don't think he will do vinyl as he said it was more hassle to get hold of and it has a tendency to crack whereas the mohair doesn't.

@s2k nut- how easy was it for you to find him. The first time I had difficulty when I took him my glass.

Dead easy, follow satnav google maps then I asked a postman who just happened to be on the street heh heh ... but yeah it's a little tricky to find even when you are right there next to the street! once you have 'reached your destination' look out for a big red stop sign, turn right and then first right ... that is the street you actually want he is about half way up.

Yeah it was easy the second time when I took my car, bumpy road though but again I'm very pleased with his work.

I shall be paying him a visit in the near future. My roof has started to go in the usual places and for £260 you just can't go wrong.
I think I'll buy a screen and send it first rather than cut mine out. He can then keep my old screen if he wants.

isnt the lifespan of these roofs almost half of the monsoon roofs?

I don't know that there is any evidence for that!

I've not seen a single complaint about his roofs on here, and have one myself.

Hmm interesting, but aren't both roofs made of Mohair so why should one have less longevity than the other, furthermore you could fit 2.5 of these roofs for the same price as monsoon would charge for one. However you may be right, I will update in 3 years time, let you know

Sounds like another happy customer. Jack Smith's reputation seems to be growing fast

Sending the glass ahead of time is an excellent idea, what way you can hang around Swansea whilst he fits the new roof and don't need to leave the car with him for a couple of days.
