Major sypathy with you one this one, I had the same dilema with the same colours, I'd have gone for blue if I could have got a different colour interior, in the end it was Silver/Red.

BTW A/C is standard fit in Belgium and metallic paint is no extrac cost (robbing sods in the UK charge 285 quid for it) the wind deflector may not be (wasnt on my car 2001). In Germany A/C is an option.

Good Luck

If and Whenyou go for it PM me and I'll send you details of the transport company I used, they picked the car up from Mol and delivered it my door for 270 + vat (bloody bargain!! )

Guys,

A couple of you have mentioned Mol Honda in Belgium - have you got contact details / website for them ?

I'm still looking for quotes from Europe for the new Civic Type-R....

Cheers,

Matt.

Sounds good Mr. Biscuit - if you can get a deal on hard tops I would be happy to drive you over for the collection - good company and we would both save a few

Dog Biscuit,
I am feed up with this tread.

You must learn one important aspect of life is that time is money and time cannot be reversed.

Online companies always advertise the price when the exchange rate is at its highest value. You must phone to get the latest price. The exchange rate changes on a daily basis.

Now having a s2K to drive this summer is worth more than the couple of hundred pounds you are saving.

I do understand that we must try and save money. But buying a s2k for 22K should not be a big thing.

Just go, buy the car and enjoy.

We are all different...

"Act in haste, repent at leisure"

Time is money - that is why people like me are prepared to do some research, otherwise everyone would still be buying from UK forecourts.

Thank you for your concern over my welfare. I am touched.

Dog Biscuit
When I purchased my car I emailed over 500 dealers in europe.

Do Proper research and take immediate action.

Anyway the car is worth waiting for!

, I think you can secure your exchange rate now with www.hifx.co.uk.
I used these when I bought my car, you can fix the price for 6 months in advance and you just pay 10% deposit but they adjust the rate slightly. When I paid my deposit I got 64.7 BEF but the foward rate was only 64.

Another place to try is TTT
