Yes, if the camshafts worn they can replace it, or they'll replace the cam followers. Sounds very dodgy though, shouldn't happen to a newish engine if its been well looked after i.e. well oiled

I can see a small article in Autoexpress on the cards. The so called mechanics who listened to the car were obviously from the "Its your big ends mate" school of motor engineering. By the way whats a tranny problem ( re posting from our overseas friend). Im not going to do the gagg about crossdressing.
