Hmmm, had a right good day driving the S2000 around but have just stumbled across something which has made me mad!! Very mad.

I've found out where the VSA on/off button should be by looking in the brochure for the new S2ks. So, I popped out and had a look in mine and, lo and behold, the button isn't there!!

When I went to see the car at Brindley Honda, the Honda UK website clearly stated it had VSA fitted - the dealer even confirmed it - and now it seems it hasn't...I was too much of a newbie to notice.

With the amount of wet weather winter driving I have to do, you could say I am not very happy about this!!

Hiya. Just thought I'd introduce myself. Picking up my S2000 next weekend - bought it used this afternoon from FLC in London. Silverstone with Red/Black interior. Really excited, can't wait to drive it home - top down of course

Picking up my MY08 Synchro Silver S2000 GT next Saturday - can't wait! It's a dealer pre-reg on a 58 plate with just delivery mileage.

Very excited, I think Saturday is going to be a long time coming.

Looking forward to top down motoring - should have done it years ago. Oh, and that glorious VTEC sound once she's run in. Given how generous him indoors has been (tjc_dev) in letting me spend more money on another car, I better let him have the keys occasionally

Alternatively there are advanced road driving courses like these:

Can't comment personally, as I have done neither, hence my penchant for crashing.

Welcome and enjoy the car.
I did a road driving course with RideDrive about three years ago when I had my RS2. It was a good day - we went up into East Anglia to find some good roads. Learnt lots about appropriate road positioning, making good progress safely and practised lots of overtaking. Not specificlly a car control day but I did learn more about my beast.

Hi All

Newbie to the forum, but I've had my S for nearly 4 years now. She's a Y plate - 2000 Black thoughout. Absolutely love the car! Been on one track day and taking it to the 'Ring this year. I live in Surrey

I've made a few posts recently asking a few questions and everyone has been really helpful - thanks! Hopefully I can contribute some knowledge back at some point!

Cheers Ian.

Hi all,

Also a newbie to the forum. Currently looking for my first s2000. Had my first test drive today & loved it, although the car needed some tlc.

As soon as I have found the 'right' one I will post some pics.

Will be asking some questions later but will try to put them in the correct section.

Rob

Had my S2k for about a month now, previously owned 3 CTR's and an ITR, as well as numerous others!
Must say car is fantastic, but can be a real handful in anything but dry weather!! (lots of fun though)

Here's a couple of pics.
