Many thx for the replies.
S2000 is clearly a car that inspires passion - more so than the Boxster or BMW from browsing the boards. Perhaps that is just a different market sector? Altho' grown up Porsche/Ferrari/Maserati
seem to inspire the same emotions as the S2000.
Drive them is the answer! Apparently I can get a couple of hours in the S2000 - dunno about the Boxster and the M. Find out when I get back to the UK in Sept.
On the Elise/Exige accessibility - found that a doddle with the top off - step in and slide down the seat back - getting put seat right back and reverse procedure. Bit of a contortion with the top on though! Difficult to do elegantly with a skirt on wd have thought - not tried that Tho son's gf apparently manages it - not seen demo.
Not tried Exige but unstuck the Elise a few times on the track - v. controllable...but then driving with the instructor realised just how much I had to learn about the car!
Wouldn't it be great just to be able to just one thing supremely well.
Sorry for butting in on someone else's thread!
