Night time, top down?

Anyone else do this?

Driving around this evening whilst taking the very long route to Tesco's I was attracting alot of attention for some reason, I had Linkin Park and Nickleback blaring out and had the top down (very Essex like) but it was not going to rain and I felt like a bit of a change.

Probably doesn't happen alot in England I suppose. Anyone else try / do this?

I have probably been labelled the MC Honda trouble maker. :D

Often.

You can't beat a nice night time drive with the top down.
Just mind the moths!!!

I love driving through the city at night and looking up at all the neon signs flashing above me - you also get to take in more of the atmosphere -

The only reasons my top ever goes up are,
1 - I am parking the car up for some time
2 - Its raining

Otherwise it is top down all the time,

I love driving top-down at high speed on a nice warm night. You have to have the side windows up though or you can end up with bugs in your face. I got a hornet down inside the front of my T-shirt on Sunday :yikes:

Sometimes though, cruising slowly is good, enjoying the ambience and being at one with the natural world around me. BUT never with music blaring into the atmosphere :nono: (even when I get my new amp fitted next Thursday :D )

Have you tried it in the rain :yikes: I was on a bit of a flyer, just passed a couple of cars and suddenly straight in to a bit of a down pour. The road was quite twisty and no real safe place to pull over so I thought I'll live with it until I reach Kirton Lindsey (next village) When I suddenly realised although I had the wipers on I wasn't getting wet, a quick glance at the passenger seat told me it was obviously just blowing straight over the car. I met a couple of cars, you can imagine what they must have been thinking :freak2: By the time I'd got to Kirton it had stopped.

I too was blating around with the top down last night!

Had a great 'run-in' with a VX220! Left him eating my dust

Can't beat driving top down:thumbup:

I did this last year, was going on holiday and had to drive to my girlfriends but suitcase would not fit in the boot, so only way to do it was on the passenger seat with the roof down.
On the way up the motorway it started raining, even though I am tall was not getting wet at all, and it was superb looking at all the other drivers faces as I went past them they all thought I was a bit loopy :freak1:
