I had an imported Jap MR2 prior to the Honda and was warned of all sorts of problems likely to arise from UK dealers. Happily when I took it Cutlers of Streetly (Main Toyota Dealers) they said if it's a Toyota you've bought it to the right place. I never had any grief at all. They were always most helpful and courteous. The biggest hassle I got was with insurance.....ridiculous. I'm suprised you're having problems with Honda.
