Nokia Handsfree Kit
Just wondering if anyone has had a Handsfree mobile kit fitted in their s2k ? Mine's due in August, and will be fitted with the full Nokia Handsfree kit - a few questions:
1. Any suggestions as to where the cradle is best placed ?
2. Does the stock headunit have an auto muting function for when the phone rings ?
3. Is there any provision on the stock headunit to run the handsfree kit through the car speakers ?
4. Is there anywhere I can get hold of the specs / connection diagrams for the stereo ?
Cheers,
Matt.

Matt,
I do not even try using the phone in the car unless stopped in traffic, I tried the normal plug in bits of kit buts its too noisy to hear or be heard. Its best to switch it off, enjoy the drive and pick up messages later.
P.S Great choice of car.

I second Peter. I've got a portable hands free car kit. With the roof down, I'm lucky to here the phone ringing, let alone the person on the end of the line. If you're gonna go with using the phone in a car, use a personal in-ear type.

Hello mate,
I am with these guys on this, why cut holes or add extra bits to your car, it is beautiful without any extras IMO. I bung an ear piece in, or turn it off

I met a fellow S2k ower last night also getting new rear tyres (S200 0MJ - blk/blk + hardtop) he had a Motorola hands free kit fitted and could use it upto 80 mph with the hard top on or soft top up but it was un-hearable with the top down.
When audio mute was a big probelm when it was fitted and had to butcher the wiring with a relay to make work with the dash controls. The speaker was under his left leg and the mike pick up near the rear mirror. Looked Ok.
Please tell us if you have something fitted if it works.
