Even left the headache bars in situ! Most people trash them trying to remove them.

Excellent job and a pretty good time, too.

Good workshop though.

Good work sir.

I'm holding off replacing my roof as the tears I have in it are very small and don't let any water in.................yet. Having a garage is a must for this DIY imo.

Nice work, thats well fast.

I have a brand new plastic screen roof which I keep meaning to get round to fitting. Amazed you only took 3 hours.

Ah it's not finished yet, I'm at a mid point. The rear of the roof is attached which was an absolute pig of a job.

Left to do is fit the new elastic straps to the rear bow, and then stretch the roof back over.

Knowing how hard it was to get them out, I fully expect putting the rear corner trays back to be an utter nightmare! Should be done tonight, though, and I reckon a total time of 5-6hrs isn't out of the question. He says.

6 hours is what it takes the very experienced guys at Monsoon to do the job.

Looking good so far.

came back this afternoon to finish it. However this morning I came up with one crucial factor.

The hardtop is on. I can't take it off myself. Looks like I'm waiting for someone to get home from work to help me

Hmmm well as predicted, it wasn't 100% plain sailing - it won't close!

I had assumed that being a "used" roof, there wouldn't be any tightness issues. Well, at about 1.5 inches from closure, it't seems too tight at the back, either side of the screen.

Can't work out why
