So, I just bought my very first S2000 - what I thought was a perfect rebuilt model from the year 2000. On my first use after getting it home, smoke starts to billow out of front tyres - turns out to be the aircon compressor or belt burning - not sure if oil or gas was burning. Hopefully the attachment can work and you can see the issue. I got an aircon specialist to take a look and he says that the compressor is gone plus likely to be a leak. The aircon man can’t get a new compressor from his supplier - only suggestion is a rebuild for £300 (plus labour of taking off and refitting). Honda want £1903 plus VAT for a new compressor - ARRRGGGHHHHH. Any suggestions on best course of action?
