Default Ohlins adjustment.

Any one with ohlins road and track coil overs running them higher than what ohlins recommend?

edit -

think i have worked it out, i have set the fronts from 103mm to 118mm and set the rears from 27 mm to 40mm, which i believe is the maximum height i can run, doesn't look too far off stock height

i don't really understand that chart lol, but from what i can tell it applies only to the rears? i didn't touch the spring preload so its still at 2mm, is that a bad idea when increasing the height?

doesn't changing the spring preload also effect the ride height of the car?

Yes its also another way to increase it.
you really should do as the chart says and give preload as they are supposed to have to work correctly,
they work MUCH much better try if needed 5mm front and 10mm rear.<as rears will be running on bump stops if not in no time with 2mm>
Then you can put the bottoms within spec ie:+/-15mm.

Do the shocks have to be off the car to properly adjust the preload?

No, as long as your first measurements are correct ,one turn = 2.5mm edit 1.5mm
see below 1.5mm

In my manual it states 1 full turn = 1.5mm on the height adjuster.

Is there a different ratio when adjusting the preload then ?
