Oil cooler time?

Yep - I've been looking at the Mishimoto one with thermostat in the sandwich plate.
Anyone had any experience with it? I've only used HKS and Trust / GREX coolers in the past - when they used to use Earls Fittings. Now the fitting are made in Taiwan somewhere and have heard they leak quite a bit. Bit skeptic of using them now.

Like MB said the sandwich plate isnt the best place, i think the exhaust heats up that area alot and its hard to really get a true reflection of the oil temperatures.
I have tried one in the sump but it was showing very very low temperatures, i think it my case it was due to the sender not being immersed in the oil, it was only poking inside the sump to sender adapter and the oil wasn't able to get round the sides of the sender.
When i put my oil cooler set up on during the summer i have fitted a sender to the return side of the cooler so i know how cool it is as it comes out of the cooler. Coolers have there issues as well thou and i bet you could find alot of engine failures due to hoses popping etc.
Just for you info mine showed 127c on the sandwich plate last summer but im not convinced its anywhere near that hot to be honest, maybe 115c at the most.
