Default Oil filler caps

Anyone know where i can get a mugen or spoon oil filler cap, mines just sheared in half as i was checking the oil level this afternoon, all the dealers are closed for xmas and i cant get one till Thusday.

Looking at either orderring online or travelling to a shop in the Slouhg,Staines area.

Any help much appreciated.

Spoon oil and rad caps are $hit.
The sticker falls off after a while. Not what you'd expect after paying

AE,

That's a really nice offer and IMHO the best thing about this site, that people will put themselves out to help others, but i would'nt put anyone out on Christmas day.

I think i'll lay the car up for a couple of days, use the wife's peugeot and find a temporary replacement at halfords or something until i can get an OEM one from a local dealer. Have been told Johnsons Honda can get one for Thursday but will ring round as Ascot and Weybridge were both closed when i called today.

I would still like to know where i an source a Mugen one from, does anyone know any good wbesites i can look at.

AE, you have a safe drive to Wargrave tomorrow and have a good Xmas.

Cheers

Mollyslip.

Had I been a little closer I would have been happy to make the same offer.

For a Mugen cap, the only place I know of is King Motorsport in the US.

I would go for a Spoon or BuddyClub or something else a bit less overpriced

The Mugen Oil cap is a PITA, you'll burn your fingers when you go to take it off. Mind you I was told recently you should only check your oil when the engines cold. Good reminder getting your fingers burnt.

Yeah, the Mugen oil cap do get hot as hell, but it looks great and it will never ever break. Just make sure to use a glove if you want to get it off while the car is still warm.

Check out this website. Great service.

Youll find it under accessories
