Are the squirters the same for all the models or they updated them as well?
I am about to replace the bolts but did not order the squirters

The part numbers are the same now but could have been different in the past.Im changing both as I'm not sure of the age of the engine and if they were updated on the later models then I'll be wanting the updated parts.

when I bought my s2000 in 2011 the service manager at Lookers Derby checked on the computer to see if they had been done before, they had as it turns out, the manager said that if they hadn't been done he could have done it under a recall !! my car is a 1999 so maybe newer cars can still get the 4 hole bolts fitted foc !!

I think the bolts a probably more important that the squirters.

I suppose a sure sign of knackered oil squirters is low oil pressure at idle. I tend to get about 18psi at 900 rpm which isnt great. The sump is coming off at some stage to fit a baffled one so i might be tempted to fit some new bolts at the same time. I guess if the spring gets worn then they will let by all the time and spray the pistons even at idle.
