Oil Temps on Track

Oil Temps on Track
What is people's opinion of the oil cooling on a stock S2000 when used on track? Given that on track the revs will mostly be 6 - 9K then the oil is going to get hot. I've seen a few people have added oil temp gauges and was wondering how you find the temps are on track - is the standard car ok and is it only when adding more bhp that additional oil cooling is advised?

I did over 250 track miles per day at Spa last year in 25+C temperatures. All was perfectly fine (standard car except for baffled sump, only bough as I was using R888s).
This is a good watch if you're worried.

The S2000 can take a lot of punishment in its stride.

I got one fitted to mine as I do about half a dozen track days a yr. Probably overkill to be honest but won't do any harm. Got one with a thermostat so if the oil isn't warm it doesn't go through the cooler.
