Default Old parts

Would an old Cusco ARB still be worth using. Ie about 9 years old, but still in original wrapping. It's age that's the issue here, not whether an ARB is something useful.

Depends what the manufacturers use by date says. This is normally stamped on the underside of the product.

ARB as in Anti Roll Bar?

If so, you're damn right it'd be worth using! It will have lost none of it's performance in that time!

As long as you've kept it below -6°C.

If it doesn't smell off, it'll probably be OK.

Is this another thread like DaveUK's?

In which case, you will have to have the ARB tested to see if there any micro changes in the crystalline structure of the metal, that could affect the torsional rigidity.

and if you do have a problem with the crystalline structure of the metal you can align with North/South magnetic poles and hit it with a hammer to reset the crystals
