For those who saw my recent thread about my damaged alloys I'm happy to report Lookers Honda Lenton Nottingham have replaced both my rear wheels.
Thought I'd start a new thread so that everyone who saw the negative comment about them and doesn't get email notifications, will also see the positive comment about them.
Happy again

Excellent news.
The only thing that bothers me is that why did they have to leave you fuming at the time, only for them to back down later?
Customer care UK style, I suppose.
PS - That tyre fitter who suggested a different tyre profile as a solution reinforces my support for post-natal abortion!

If only more dealers adopted the same approach.
(Although in fairness to my local dealer, they were very good when I recently had problems which proved hard to diagnose)

Lookers may never have hidden the problem - it may have been the tyre place swearing blindly that the customer was trying it on. Good result for Lookers.
I was thinking about this today - could the rims have been damaged by the balancing machine or stacking rims on top of each other, rather than by removal ?
