Outdoor Car Cover?
Hello
My new job means I will be away for 4-5 days every other week and I don't have a garage so am thinking of a cover.
There seems to be quite a difference in price from £75 ish for a 'voyager' one to £230 for a 'kalahari'.
Is it worth paying extra or with the £75 one do?
Its going to be on my driveway and will be cleaned before being covered.
Cheers

I bought the Stormshield from Specialised Covers. Having had cheap covers in the past, don't compromise. These covers are well worth the extra money and perform brilliantly. Chuck them on a wet car, they dry out and don't sweat. The fit is great, and harnessed at four points means it won't blow off. Pricey, but certainly a great cover.

I'm pleased with the breath-ability of the "Stormforce" one I've got too, although it does feel like you might be able to tear it quite easily if you snagged it on something (it's never that reassuring to get a big-ass repair patch with something )

The Stormshield (non-lite) is pretty heavy duty. I'm not that worried about snagging, feels very good quality. Its certainly great at keeping all the bird crap and tree sap off the car. My previous cover would let that stuff seep through, however these beasts stops everything.

It it's going to be living outside for more than a day at a time I'd go with the non-lite version.
The StormShield-Lite is more for throwing over the car for the odd couple of days here and there.

Same here. I like the triple layer breathable system they use.
