Painting hardtop help
Hi all. Having my hardtop painted as it's silver and the car is moon rock grey. The painted has said really he needs to remove the rear glass with a new rubber seal. But if the glass brakes it £700 just for the glass, Otherwise he is going to leave the glass in and mask it up. Can anyone help me on this?

Having just removed a rear hardtop glass to replace it with Lexan I can confirm it's a f**king c**t of a job. And that's with the all the trim and finishing removed.
He stands more chance of ending up with an unsatisfactory end result through damaging something than he does through overspray from bad masking.
