Pairing phone with KCE 400 and Alpine IDA 305
Evening all,
Does anyone know if there is a nack to this. I haven't wired in the pink wire from the BT unit into the PnP Modifry unit, the Modify unit 1 is switched to on, BT adapter is turned on, but I can't seem to pair the phone.
My iphone 4 recognises the KCE 400, but it won't allow me to pair it. Furthermore, the other BT options on the headunit aren't accessible.
I would be grateful for any tips, otherwise I'm going back to standard!
Many thanks in advance
Graham

I had it working fine with my old HTC and with my iPhone before IOS6 came out.
Seems you have to be on radio on headset then try to pair device before it pushes HU/400bt into pairing mode.

Stupid bloody thing!
I'm running ios 5.1 or whatever it is (not 6 anyways), and I can't even get my laptop to pair with the BT unit! Both my laptop and iphone recognise the device, but it just won't pair.
I would hand it over to some audio experts, but I just can't see that they will be able to do anything more.
Any ideas peeps??
Many thanks
