UKPaul, I thought you wanted a picture of the 18" OZ Superleggera's. I think they're a perfect match with the Silverstone color.

You can find more pictures from the meeting we had last weekend in Luxemburg at: FOTOS

I thought I already got a lot of stares with the stock S2000. But
with these new rims, I think people are almost breaking their
necks! It really changes the complete appearance of the car.

Hi Paul,

no it's not lowered. I don't think you can lower it much without the
risk of rubbing. I like it just the way it is.

hi Ronald,

please can you give exact details of wheels size, offsets, tyres to fit etc, and anything else you altered. Did you get different discs, brakes ?

They look really cool. Do you know if they are lighter than stock wheels. ?

This is something that Ive been pricing up, wheels are on my big list of things to do.

Jonathan, have you seen the wheels on 'The Reverend's' car ?
They are black; looks pretty cool with the black paintwork, kinda spooky

Hi Na$ty,

I bought the rims & tires in Belgium at S-Tuning, Pancho is the contact overthere. You probably have seen him on the European Club Forum.

Weight is 8.4 KG for the rears, 8.0 KG for the fronts. I'm guessing this, since I found 2 weightindications, but front and rear should be different in weight. Fronts are 8" wide rears are 9" wide. Offset front 45, offset rear 55. The tires I use are Yokohama AVS Sport. rear 255-35 and front 225-40. These tires handle a lot easier than the stock S02's, they're much more predictable and have almost as much grip. Handling in the wet should also be better. Alternatives were Michelin Pilot Sport and Dunlop SP9000. Wanted to get S03's but they were not available yet.

Haven't changed anything. The brakediscs now look quite small. They fit barely with the calipers in the stock rims, but now there's a lot of space left. The main reason I went for different rims was that I wanted wintertires on my original rims but didn't want to swap them everytime. So I wanted extra rims. Therefore I cannot get bigger brakediscs if I wanted (I don't want it, since I think the stock ones are great, except that they rust so fast).

I'm now waiting for the MG-Racing CAI and then I've changed all I want to change. I was driving full throttle behind Pancho and he just pulled away from me, my estimate is that it gains anywhere between 0 and 20 BHP depending on the RPM. Also the sound is quite wicked with the CAI installed. Maybe I'll take the MG Racing exhaust somewhere in the future, it sounds very good at low revs.

Ronald,

What are the winter tires you're running...... Seems like a good justification to me to get the OZ's...
