Hmmm...most TCT problems are worse when warm.

Replace the TCT, mattg rightly pointed you in the direction of a search, lots of info and write ups about changing it...5 minute job.

I'd also adjust the valves, just to be sure...difficult to tell over the web :)

When it was serviced by HOnda did they do the tappets and if so did they do them cold. If they didn't do them when were they last done. It's more than likely these or the tct as mentioned above but the tappets are the cheaper of the 2 jobs

yeah i can appreciate its hard to tell from a rubbish video.

i did do a quick search before hand and saw people said its worse when warm etc. hence my posting this thread.

no it was a 63k service so doubt they would have.

i've looked at the past services and it appears that the last owner missed out the 54k service! hence i mentioned about coming to you for this.

how much would you charge for a new tct and tappets?

tct is £115 fitted tappets are £60
