Porsche 944 turbo could it out pace an S2000?
Someone at work has a mint condition 944 turbo with very low miles on the engine. he rekons it would leave my car for dead!
how fast are they before i decided to put some money down for a bet?

Size-wise, the 944 is very close to the S2000, so much so, I wonder if it was a benchmark for Honda.
It is a 2+2 so it is longer overall, and most surprisingly, even heavier, especially the convertible.
A 2,5 Turbo is gonna have a mid range torque advantage, but it don't rev.
They're probably a close match.
Down to the driver I reckon.

the 944 Turbo suffers from really bad turbo lag......they are 250bhp but weigh in a little more than the S2000 so power to weight are similar
They gearbox is over the rear wheels so traction is good........I was looking for a Turbo Cab but they only brought in 100 to the UK so are rare
