Post PowerFlex Bushes !

Hey guys !

Where is the best place to buy powerflex bushes at sensible money? I require a complete set of the standard powerflex for the whole car !
Fleabay have a few sellers doing a complete set HERE is one, not sure on the pricing though ! Any dealers with discount avaliable?

Also can anyone advice on the sizing of the following bushes for an MY08 AP2
- Front anti roll bar bush.. either 26.5mm & 28.2mm
- Rear anti roll bar mount.. either 25.4mm & 27.2mm
- Rear upper wishbone bush.. either 35mm or 42mm

Thanks guys !

I would think carefully about doing All in poly as it may detract its value

Polybushs are know not to be very compliant for the front compliant bushes. Your best off with mugen etc.

I did my entire suspension in Powerflex purples and I have been very happy. I used their newer spherical style compliance bushing along with the stainless bolt kit for it as it is prone to corrosion, and have had no issues in 3 years.
I ordered from Camskill which were cheapest at the time. Consider refurbing your arms & ARBs with POR-15 or similar at the same time.

Useful chart found here: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/s2000-br...prings-818884/

Shows that 08 Front ARB= 27.2mm
Rear= 25.4mm
However i notice Powerflex don't make a 27.2mm front. Might be worth checking that on the car, or using their 27.2mm rear for it because I think the mounts are the same front and rear, it should fit.
I can't find solid info on rear upper wishbone size, however I checked my receipt and I used a 35mm for my AP1 suspension so I'm pretty sure yours will be the 42mm.

Bought mine from driftworks.com during their Christmas sale. Obviously not still running but it's worth keeping your eyes peeled for future deals.

Many thanks for all the feed back guys ! Will most likely be doing the rear first and then the front, as I'm dropping the subframe out this winter for some de-rusting !

Thanks for the feedback, I will be refurbishing the entire rear subframe and all arms as rust is taking over on the rear. I had the car up in the air this week been dealing with CV issues!
Finally remembered to get the callipers out and measure for myself, and can confirm:-

AP2 MY08
Front ARB= 27.70mm
Rear ARB = 25.70mm
Rear upper wish = 42mm by 57mm

Solid advice on the front ARB size, closest Powerflex do is a 28.2mm. I will give them a call this week and see if the bush is satisfactory when clamped. If not will order a rear set for the front !

Thanks Again !
