I'm debating whether or not to put a private plate on and have found two - S200 OCJ or S200 DCJ - both come in at about

It varies from force to force it seems.

Not sure if it makes ANPR less likely to pick up your car though.

Go with the OCJ as that would need less tweaking than a D.

Mine is not legally spaced, but I haven't been pulled for it.

I had to get some legal ones for the MOT though.

On the other hand Ciderboy was pulled for his recently.

Keep the standard font style and size to minimise the chance of being tugged.

I think it will make it more likely for ANPR to be alerted as it can't read the plate so it flags it as dodgy.

It's luck of the draw a bit tbh. Kind of depends on what type of mood the coppers in, and if you give him any attitude back.

Mate of mine has got a smaller plate, and has never been stopped...........................so far

Carry a spare set in the boot (you'll need them for the MoT), and find a way to fix it onto the car. So if the copper does stop you, you can apologies and put the legal one back on.

Shouldn't you have RH?

Or are those your "Saturday" initials Tracey?

I've been pulled for running a red "I thought it was still orange office". He pulled up beside me in his 4x4, I could hardly see him from my seating position He never said anything about the plates. I've past many cop cars and been followed by them too. Never any hassle about the plate. Raced one off a roundabout on a DC, beat him and never got pulled. That volvo just couldn't do it

My plate is an S200 O-- and reads S2000 --.
