Default PRM intake

Hi guys,

Been quoted $380.00 shipped for PRM intake from USA.
Anyone bought one before? Does this sound like an ok price?
Also, Does anyone know if & how much I'd have to pay to import this?

Thanks in advance...

Nik.

Loads of us had PRMs on here back in the day.

I think I paid about 200 quid in a group buy, years ago.

You always run the risk of import tax.

Hey, good choice! I like em so much I bought another for my second S2K, sound great!

Where did you get that quote from? PRM is a Canadian company and they ship direct to UK Customers, so email them directly before you buy.

Last time I looked, after taxes and so on it would work out £280 / £300.

Luckily though I got mine second hand off forum members!

Awesome sound though, you won't regret it!

Thanks for replies...
Think i worked it out at about £280.00 shipped inc duty.
It's either this or the K&N. K&N is £208.00 at the moment.
I like the look of the PRM but like the sound of both! Decisions eh??

I have one crawling through customs at the minute

Same price, $380, $100 of which was for express shipping. Not sure what the declared value on the box is though Although its not been very express, two weeks on and it has still not got to me

I can't wait to get it on

This swayed me going PRM vs the K&N:

Bump for finally getting mine after customs taking an age! I fitted it yesterday, Christ almighty it is loud and aggressive!

Its a bit louder than the AEM my old car used to have.

I managed to get it up to 9k in 1st gear on tower bridge last night, some tourists nearly snapped their necks spinning round to see what the hell the noise was. Over the moon with it

The car seems more responsive, especially over 6k. It also seems faster, but its probably just the massive amount of noise making it feel like that.
